Caldor Solar are one of Ireland’s leading suppliers and installers of Solar PV systems and renewable energy solutions.
Our goal is simple: to energise Ireland and help it reach Net Zero, while helping our customers save money, time and stress.

We take our role as your installer seriously: with a high attention to detail and top-quality products. But if anything should happen, we’ll deal with the manufacturer directly. Rest assured, the buck stops with us!

Our Story
WHERE we’ve been
Our story began when our founder, Eoin O’Flaherty, quite literally started seeing the light.
Working in the electrical industry at the time, Eoin noticed an ever-increasing demand for energy and knew it couldn’t be sustainable – unless the source of that energy came from elsewhere.
Looking to other countries, Eoin saw how the renewable energy industry was evolving: solar energy was on the rise as communities turned towards cleaner ways to power their homes.
Eoin also saw how solar energy could help people to make significant savings on their electricity bills – while reducing their carbon emissions and their reliance on fossil fuels. These benefits inspired a shift in direction: out of the electrical space and into renewable energy.
Psst…That was over a decade ago, when Ireland’s solar power industry was a mere whisper. It took a great leap of faith to move into – and begin leading – a relatively unknown industry. But Eoin saw the potential for solar panels on every roof in Ireland: across homes, businesses, farms and entire communities.
Just like that, Caldor Solar was born. We began by supplying and installing Solar PV systems across the country. And although we may not have known it then, over the next 10 years we’d pave a brighter way for solar solutions in Ireland.
