The Irish government has pledged to ban fossil fueled cars by 2030. By then, the majority of the car industry will be electric. It will make increasing sense to drive electric vehicles with lower running costs, that are more environmentally friendly. Electric vehicle chargers enable people to charge their cars from home whenever they want.

In terms of commercial EV chargers there are tax incentives for electric company cars, along with grants available for the installation of commercial EV chargers. The Irish government has also introduced new regulations regarding the construction of public buildings with mandatory EV chargers.

There are commercial EV charging stations being developed all across Ireland as the demand is continuing to grow at an exponential rate.
